RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Paradise Scent, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, this policy explains your rights and how to return items.


1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Customers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

You then have an additional 14 days to return the item to us.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging

  • Seals must remain intact

  • Proof of purchase is required

Because we sell fragrance and scented products, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Opened or used perfumes

  • Items with broken hygiene seals

  • Personalised products

  • Gift cards

This is for hygiene and safety reasons.


3. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos of the item and packaging

We will offer a replacement or full refund where appropriate.


4. How to Return an Item

  1. Email info@paradisescent.co.uk with your order number.

  2. Wait for return confirmation and instructions.

  3. Securely package the item.

  4. Send to:

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

We recommend using a tracked delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for lost returns.


5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • We will notify you of approval or rejection.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days.

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.


6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank account again.

  • Contact your card provider (processing times vary).

7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need an exchange, contact us at info@paradisescent.co.uk.


8. International Returns

For international orders:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping and customs fees.

  • We are not responsible for duties or taxes incurred.


9. Non-Returnable Items Summary

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened fragrance products

  • Used scented items

  • Gift cards

  • Sale/clearance items (if applicable – edit if needed)
